Projects

Dynamix has been involved in over more than 150 projects and installations troughout our 20 years in the sound, lighting and visual industry. From small to very large projects, we will help our clients with sound, lighting and visual choices, designing, planning and executing from start to finish. Here are just a few projects that we have installed through the years:

Coco Banana (2008)

Cocobanana was planned out in November 2007 and the project got under way on March 2008, Dynamix took only 1 month to plan, design, construct and complete.

Main bar and LED panels at Cocobanana. Ceiling is also fitted with RGB LED lights.
The main dance floor of Cocobanana spiced up with Robe moving heads surrounded by RGB LED lights
The VIP area spots a very cool look provided by Robe Moving heads and great headroom created by Coda K189 speakers and PW115 subwoofers.
LED panels at the main bar helps project promotions and graphics to awe customers.

Heritage Mansion (2007)

Heritage Mansion was prefabricated from World War 2 homes at the heart of KL. Construction for this unique and classy club began August 2007 and Heritage Mansion opened it's doors to customers and clubbers on October 2007.

Coda Audio K12 speakers and PW118 Sub woofers provides great sound headroom and also acts as a dance platform for the clubbers.

Space (2008)

The latest club to hit the Asian Heritage Row area in KL, and only caters 'house music' all night long to it's clubbers was planned out on February 2008. Design and planning for Space leading up to the completion only took 3 months. Space opened it's doors for the first time on 16th April 2008.

Space's dance floor area is filled with lighting. From Robe moving heads, scanners, RGB Laser System, smoke machine and high powered strobe lights to give a futuristic feel.
RGB LED lights are patched into the computer lighting software to make the lighting jockeys have more control over the lights not only at the dance area but the furniture as well.
The high powered generic RGB laser system plays out animation graphics and patterns in a variety of colors.
In this picture, all the lights are programmed in one sequence witch makes the atmosphere in Space icy cold blue added with a touch of smoke by the smoke machine

Concorde Hotel Crossroads Lounge & Ballroom (2007)

Concorde Hotel picked Dynamix to be it's SLV sub contractor and consultant during the hotel's upgrading works in 2007. Dynamix started planning on March 2007 and was given the green light to first upgrade the hotel's lounge (Crossroads) on May 2007 and later, the main ballroom sound reinforcement system on July 2007.
Dynamix installs and suppies Nexo PS8 speakers as filler and surround speakers around the crossroads lounge to give more sound headroom for the live band area.
The amplifier rack houses Camco Tecton 38.4 amplifiers and Nexo PS controllers to power up the Nexo PS8 series and PS15 series speakers surrouding the crossroads lounge.
NexoPS15 speakers were used for the front of house system and PS8 speakers as monitors for the live band playing daily at Crossroads. The clients needed a reliable system to run 12 hours nonstop everyday.
Another picture of the surround installation in Crossroads using Nexo PS8 speakers. The clients loved the smooth and crisp highs' that the speaker horns delivered and this creates a very clear sound for the customers.

Carlos Mexican Canteena (2007)

Situated at the heart of KL's latest shopping and fashion mall (Pavilion), Carlos Mexican Canteena is a Mexican restaurant with a different sort of flair. The team had to come up with a multipurpose sound and lighting system for when the restaurant operates between 10am - 10pm and for clubbers when the music begins to pump at 11pm onwards.

Carlos Mexican Canteena is powered by Coda K4 speakers for ambience and a better dining experience for it's customers.

Coda K4 speakers placed at the VIP areas gives the flexibility for customers to have a private space
Coda K12 speakers and active sub woofers power the main dance area. Robe moving heads are used from 11pm onwards for clubbers to dance the night away.
